Nicole is a dynamic, spirited Image & Reputation Coach, Public Relations Consultant and Personal Stylist with 20 years' experience in the Media and Entertainment industries. She has had an amazing and varied career, having been a Radio Personality, Magazine Columnist, Television Talk Show Host, Theatre and Television Actress, Branding Strategist, among other things. For the past 5 years, she has flexed her entrepreneurial skills as the CEO of Au Courant EventZ.
Describing herself as “the most personable diva you might ever meet!,” she has a knack for making others feel comfortable and inspired, skills which she does not take for granted.
During her previous 8-4 job life and subsequent career in Corporate Advertising, Nicole dealt with multiple high-stress situations, so she speaks from experience. Enduring everything from discrimination to rigid deadlines and extremely packed schedules, she eventually found herself suffering from severe exhaustion that saw her laid-up in bed for a week.
After experiencing the results of a frenetic and unbalanced life, Nicole knew things had to change. She now enjoys a much more balanced work schedule and relishes the opportunity to share her story and inspire others to find their balance so they too can operate at their highest capacity.
Nicole’s top tips for managing stress:
1. It’s all about work-life balance – one shouldn’t overpower the other.
2. Streamlining in business is key. Don’t be afraid to say no to the things that don’t truly serve you or your goals.
3. Know that you can still stay true to your calling as an entrepreneur, even when you take the steps to streamline your life.
4. Enjoy the boundless rewards of a changed mindset, improved focus and increase commitment – it can be truly eye-opening!
